Renovation & Extension of 1960s Semi-Detached Property - "January 2023 - July 2023"

This project involves the full transformation and expansion of an existing 1960s semi-detached dwelling, increasing the property size from approximately 900 sq ft to a modern, spacious 1,700 sq ft family home. The works include the construction of a substantial double-height side extension and a double-height rear extension, designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing structure while significantly enhancing internal space, natural light, and overall functionality.

The development did reconfigure the original 2-bed layout into a contemporary 5-bedroom property featuring three high-specification bathrooms. Internal areas have bee completely modernised, including new mechanical and electrical installations, upgraded insulation, open-plan living spaces, and improved thermal and energy performance throughout. Architectural detailing has been carefully considered to retain elements of the building’s original character while delivering a sleek and cohesive modern aesthetic.

The completed project has provided a fully updated, energy-efficient home tailored for modern family living, maximising both footprint and value while ensuring longevity and compliance with current building regulations.

Following the successful demolition of the existing garages and the granting of full planning permission, this project involved the complete construction of a high-quality, four-bedroom detached home. The new property has been carefully designed and built to modern standards, offering a spacious, efficient, and well-balanced layout suitable for contemporary family living.

The build features a generous open-plan kitchen and living area, well-proportioned bedrooms, and high-specification finishes throughout. Attention to detail was prioritised at every stage, from foundations through to final completion, ensuring durability, compliance with current building regulations, and a premium overall aesthetic.

Project Overview – DfE Cladding Installation, Ashington - "February 2025 - Ongoing" 

We are proud to be delivering specialist façade works on a flagship Department for Education project in Ashington, North England. Our team is currently installing a premium combination of Stofix brick cladding and Swisspearl fibre-cement panels—products chosen for their outstanding durability, clean aesthetic, and long-term performance in modern educational environments.

This scheme represents our third major DfE project of this type, following the successful completion of St Joseph’s and Michael Syddall. With each project, we have strengthened our reputation for delivering high-quality, programme-focused cladding installations that meet strict compliance and safety standards.

We continue to work alongside Bowmer & Kirkland (Innovare) , one of the UK’s most well-established main contractors, reinforcing a strong working partnership built on reliability, consistency, and trusted delivery. ​Rear Extension to a detached bungalow - "August 2024 - September 2024" 

In September 2024, we completed a stunning rear extension that added 250 sq ft of bright, modern living space to an existing detached bungalow. This project was all about creating a spacious, contemporary environment that blends seamlessly with the original structure while elevating its overall character.

What We Delivered:

  • A beautifully constructed gable-end extension, designed to maximise natural light and enhance the visual appeal of the rear elevation.

  • Installation of sleek aluminium bi-fold doors, opening the home directly onto the garden and creating a truly open-plan indoor–outdoor experience.

  • Detailed dental course brickwork, carefully matched to the existing property to ensure a flawless, integrated finish.

After providing the full permitted development plans, structural calculations, and a comprehensive project brief, our team delivered a truly luxurious rear extension that transformed this detached house into a brighter, more spacious and modern home.

The new space is defined by an impressive 5-metre-wide set of aluminium bi-fold doors, opening the extension directly onto the garden and creating a seamless indoor–outdoor flow. To enhance the sense of openness, we constructed a striking vaulted ceiling, allowing natural light to pour in and giving the room a bold architectural feature.
